June – Embracing the Summer Spirit!

Hello, June! A month that feels like a warm hug from the sun, ushering in the official start of summer with longer days, brighter skies, and endless possibilities. June is my invitation to embrace the vibrant energy of the season and dive headfirst into all the joys that summer has to offer right outside our office in The Richland Parkway.

This month is all about creating memories and cherishing moments. With the kids out of school, there’s no shortage of exciting activities to enjoy in our community. Thursday nights are filled with live music and good vibes at the Alive @ 5 Concert Series at John Dam Plaza, while Friday mornings bring the freshest finds and friendly faces at the Richland Farmers Market in the Richland Parkway. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or taking an afternoon to Dive Into Summer with the kids at John Dam Plaza, June is my time to savor the simple joys—like the smell of freshly cut grass, the sound of laughter in the air, and the feeling of warm sand between my toes.

June is also packed with unique festivals and events that bring the community together. Fusion Fest, held at many local parks including John Dam Plaza and Howard Amon Park, celebrates the diversity and creativity that makes our area special. The Richland Regatta, right outside our office along George Washington Way on the Columbia River, is a thrilling spectacle not to be missed. Later in the month, Hogs & Dogs revs up the fun at Columbia Point Marina Park on June 26, and the much-anticipated Cool Desert Nights kicks off Friday night at John Dam Plaza with classic cars, live entertainment, and good times, followed by a weekend of festivities at The Uptown.

June is also a month of celebrations! From graduations to family reunions, I look forward to every opportunity to connect and share joy with those I care about. In the office, June is a time to reflect on our achievements, celebrate milestones, and set goals for continued growth. It’s a reminder to appreciate both the big wins and the small victories that keep us inspired and motivated.

Above all, June is my call to embrace new beginnings and positive energy. It’s a time to follow my passions, share my enthusiasm, and live every day with purpose and gratitude. This month, I’m writing my summer story with joy, adventure, and meaningful connections—and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings!
